OSE architecture
OSE: three letters, three names, three paths. Olivia, Sébastien, Emmanuel — three architects whose initials form a meaningful acronym: OSE (which in French also means “dare”). Dare to innovate, dare to collaborate, dare to rethink architecture as a driver of social and environmental transformation.
We met during our studies and became friends. Over the past 25 years, each of us has developed our own practice and professional journey. In recent years, our collaborations — O with S, S with E, O.S.E together — have confirmed what had become obvious: the fluidity, enjoyment, and quality of the projects we carry out as a team. Building on that chemistry, we decided to formalize this dynamic within a shared structure: OSE architecture, founded in 2024.
Our team, based near Etterbeek station, has grown with the arrival of Emilien, Romane, Maxime, and Giulia. Together, we form a motivated, experienced, and complementary collective, ready to take on ambitious and demanding challenges.
Our projects
We work on a wide variety of projects, always guided by four main areas of expertise:
- Public and community facilities: Educational, sports, event or medical, spaces designed for users and the needs of tomorrow.
- New workplaces: Rethinking professional environments in the post-Covid era, integrating flexibility, well-being, and sustainability.
- Hotels: Projects where users experience and the identity of the place are at the heart of the design process
- Collective housing: A constant in our practice, reflecting our commitment to accessible and inclusive architecture.
Our values
At OSE architecture, people are at the heart of our approach. This translates into:
Listening and respect for every stakeholder, ensuring projects are shaped collectively.
Time and care devoted to designing tailored, durable, and timeless solutions.
Architectural generosity: attention to detail, enhancement of what already exists, and a constant pursuit of quality — whether in renovation or new construction.
Environmental commitment: projects that are efficient, thoughtful, and contextually respectful, combining innovation with heritage awareness.
We believe in an architecture that values the existing, that integrates respectfully into its environment, and that dares to propose bold responses to contemporary challenges.
A human-scale team
Our strength lies in the diversity of our backgrounds and the complementarity of our skills.
Rather than introducing each of us separately, let it be said that every team member — Olivia Gustot, Sébastien Causin, Emmanuel Beldars, Emilien Lorjoux, Romane Im, Maxime Blanc, and Giulia Baldissera — contributes to this shared vision.
For us, partnership means more than collaboration: it’s about shared values and a common ambition — to pursue an architecture that is responsible, inventive, and grounded in reality.
OSE architecture is:
A combined experience of 25 years across diverse and demanding projects.
A collaborative approach, where each project is an opportunity to co-create with our partners and clients.
A commitment to architecture that is sustainable, social, and timeless.
We are always happy to discuss your projects and explore how we can bring them to life together.
