Transformation and extension of a hotel in a former industrial building

Transformation and extension of a hotel within an existing building. Only the main building's enveloppe was preserved. Four new floors were added to accommodate 35 new rooms as an extension of the Hôtel du Berger.

The building at the back of the courtyard was raised by one level and is accessible from the main building via a wooden footbridge. The former laundry was converted into an extension of the restaurant.

This project included the architectural design but also the complete interior layout and decoration. The garden layout and planting were carried out by Claire Van der Schueren.
