Construction of a combat sports hall and extension of the Etterbeek municipal stadium.

The project involves the construction of two new buildings on either side of the Etterbeek municipal stadium, as well as modifications to the existing building.

Covering an area of 475m², the new combat sports hall is located to the left of the current building. This extension has two levels, with a multi-purpose hall on the ground floor that can be used by the boxing club or for neighbourhood activities, and a large hall on the first floor that can accommodate a boxing ring and training equipment.

To the right of the existing building, the football club's facilities are being expanded with the construction of a two-storey building comprising new changing rooms on the ground floor and a multipurpose space on the upper floor for use by the club or for neighbourhood activities. This extension covers a total of approximately 425m² over two floors.

The project plans to use materials similar to those of the existing stadium building, in order to unify all the stadium buildings and avoid competing with or detracting from the architectural unity of the Coquilhat neighbourhood. The façades of the two new structures will be treated in the same way: a sturdy textured concrete base covering the ground floor and wood cladding for the upper part.
